Requires the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to work with the Department of Transportation on directional signs for agricultural tourism facilities on major highways.

Removes the one-mile distance requirement for sign placement and instead requires signs be placed "at or in reasonable proximity to the nearest interchange."

Mandates that agricultural tourism directional signs follow the Department of Transportation's sign location and placement rules for Tourist-Oriented Directional Signs and Logo Signs programs.

Applies to agricultural facilities that promote tourism through tours and on-site sales or samples of North Carolina agricultural products.
