• Reduces the number of state-funded hard copies of appellate division reports distributed to state agencies, educational institutions, and other entities by eliminating distributions to most universities and significantly reducing copies to some departments.

• Changes the Office of the Attorney General distribution from 11 copies to 4 copies and eliminates distributions to Superior Court judges, District Attorneys, and other judicial officials.

• Establishes a process allowing any person or entity not on the state distribution list to purchase appellate division reports at the actual cost of publication and shipping.

• Requires appellate division reports to be made available electronically at no cost to recipients through a downloadable format on a publicly accessible website.

• Takes effect upon becoming law.
