• Removes approximately 39.669 acres of property from the corporate limits of the Town of Watha in Union Township, Pender County, North Carolina.

• Property is located adjacent to and west of U.S. Highway No. 117 and adjacent to and east of the Interstate Highway No. 40 right-of-way, with specific boundaries detailed by survey map recorded in Map Book 55, at Page 68 of the Pender County Register of Deeds.

• Town of Watha retains the right to collect or foreclose on any outstanding ad valorem tax liens or special assessments on the property that existed before the effective date.

• Becomes effective June 30, 2014.
