Amends Section 6 of Article VI of the North Carolina Constitution to reduce the minimum age of eligibility to hold elected office from 21 to 18 years old.

Qualified voters aged 18 and older would become eligible for election to office, subject to other constitutional disqualifications.

Amendment to be submitted to North Carolina voters at the statewide election on November 4, 2014.

If a majority of votes support the amendment, the State Board of Elections shall certify it to the Secretary of State for enrollment in permanent records.

Amendment becomes effective upon certification by the Secretary of State.
