Authorizes the Legislative Research Commission to study suicide prevention methods targeting minors and veterans in North Carolina.

Directs the study to examine evidence-based suicide assessment, treatment, and management training for licensed health care providers and its effect on patient outcomes.

Requires examination of which health care provider categories should be mandated to complete suicide prevention training as part of continuing education requirements, including minimum hours and specific training elements.

Instructs the Commission to assess the feasibility of providing suicide prevention training to school personnel, clergy, and law enforcement to recognize at-risk behavior and make appropriate referrals.

Requires an interim report in 2014 and final report to the 2015 General Assembly.
