Honors the life and memory of Mona Cornwell, former employee of Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College who died April 2, 2013.

Recognizes Cornwell's 18 years of service (1994-2012) as Desktop Publishing Specialist and Director of Community Relations and Marketing at the college.

Acknowledges her leadership in securing a 2011 sales tax referendum and the 2000 Higher Education Bond Referendum that brought $14 million to the college.

Commends her work establishing a Crisis Intervention Team training program for local law enforcement, emergency medical technicians, and school resource officers in response to tragedies involving law enforcement and people with mental illness.

Directs the Principal Clerk to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Cornwell's surviving family members: husband David, sons Neal and Graham, and mother Jo Ellen Lipe.
