Clarifies that beneficiaries of the federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) initiative are eligible to obtain drivers licenses in North Carolina.

Allows DACA beneficiaries to obtain a limited duration drivers license without presenting a valid social security number, provided they present valid federal documentation demonstrating legal presence of limited duration.

Requires that DACA beneficiary licenses not be distinguishable from other limited duration licenses issued under this section, despite general requirements that limited duration licenses bear a distinguishing mark.

Effective upon becoming law.
