Adds new subsection (b2) to G.S. 93A-4 to exempt personal information documents from public records requirements under Chapter 132 of the General Statutes.

Applies exemption to records, papers, and documentation collected or compiled by the Commission in connection with applications for examination, licensure, certification, renewal, reinstatement, or information updates related to real estate broker and salesperson licensing.

Exception allows the exempted documents to become public records if admitted into evidence during a Commission hearing.

Effective upon becoming law, ratified July 10, 2013 and approved July 18, 2013.
