Permits home schooled students in counties with populations of 200,000 or less to participate in interscholastic athletics at their assigned public school.

Home schooled students must meet residency requirements, comply with all state and local athletic rules, and maintain the same academic eligibility and behavioral standards as enrolled public school students.

Home schooled students must demonstrate academic progress through an evaluation method agreed upon by the parent and school principal, and must register before the season begins.

Home schooled students are required to pay participation fees and purchase supplemental insurance as required of enrolled students, with final participation approval determined solely by the school principal.

Effective beginning the 2013-2014 school year and applies only to counties with populations of 200,000 or less.
