Requires clerks of superior court to retain names and addresses of persons excused from jury duty based on disqualification under G.S. 9-3 for at least two years from the date of excusal.

Designates the retained excusal records as public record under G.S. 132-1, except medical information submitted to establish physical or mental incompetence may be withheld and not made public.

Requires clerks to maintain excusal records separately from the master jury list and to record the reason for each disqualification-based excusal.

Becomes effective July 1, 2013.
