Expands the Board of Agriculture from 10 to 11 members by adding two new positions: one member actively involved in forestry and one member actively involved in the nursery business.

Requires all Board members, including the Commissioner of Agriculture, to be practicing farmers engaged in their profession.

Specifies Board composition to include representatives from tobacco, cotton, fruit/vegetable, dairy/livestock, poultry, peanut, marketing, forestry, nursery, and general farming interests.

Maintains six-year terms for Board members appointed by the Governor with Senate consent, with vacancies filled by the Governor for the unexpired term.

Takes effect July 1, 2013, and applies to all Board appointments made on or after that date.
