Exempts the University of North Carolina School of the Arts from pyrotechnic prohibitions and requirements under G.S. 14-410 when producing theatrical performances, film productions, or other theatrical presentations on university-owned or leased property.

Exempts theatrical productions by UNC School of the Arts from licensing and permit requirements under G.S. 14-413 on university property.

Removes the individual training requirements under G.S. 58-82A-2 for persons using, handling, exhibiting, or discharging pyrotechnics in UNC School of the Arts theatrical productions on university property.

Applies only to productions produced, presented, or sponsored by UNC School of the Arts on property owned or rented by the university.

Effective upon enactment.
