Allows the Department of Cultural Resources to operate or contract for food and vending services at museums and historic sites it operates.

Net proceeds from food and vending services at each museum or historic site must be credited to that specific location's account and used for its operation.

Exempts revenue from food and vending services from the standard crediting procedures under G.S. 111-43.

Does not alter any existing contracts for food or vending services that are already in effect at department museums or historic sites.

Effective upon becoming law.
