Direct the Board of Governors to adopt a policy awarding physical education credit to students who are active duty military members or were honorably discharged within three years of enrollment based on military physical training.

Require the Board of Governors to establish guidelines for constituent institutions to award physical education credits and implement policies by the 2013 fall academic semester.

Direct the Board of Governors to review graduation requirements at all constituent institutions and identify other academic credits that may be awarded for military education, training, and experience by November 1, 2013.

Require constituent institutions to implement policies for awarding additional academic credits for military service by the 2014 fall academic semester.

Effective upon becoming law.
