Honors Jane S. McKimmon, recruited in 1911 as North Carolina's first state home demonstration agent, whose vision founded the organization that became the North Carolina Extension & Community Association.

Recognizes the centennial anniversary of the Extension & Community Association, celebrating 100 years of work to improve quality of life for families and communities across North Carolina.

Acknowledges the 1966 merger of the North Carolina Federation of Home Demonstration Clubs with the State Council of Negro Home Demonstration Clubs, and the subsequent 1999 name change to Extension & Community Association.

Praises the organization's presence in all 100 North Carolina counties plus the North Carolina Cherokee Reservation, operating with volunteers supporting professional extension staff from North Carolina State University and North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University.

Directs the Principal Clerk to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Dr. Joe Zublena and Dr. Marshall Stewart at North Carolina State University.
