Allows nonprofit corporations operating as professional and trade associations or business leagues to provide legal services to their members through licensed North Carolina attorneys.

Requires nonprofit corporations to be tax-exempt under 26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(6), organized under Chapter 55A of the General Statutes, and have governance structures that prevent non-attorneys from controlling the manner or course of legal services.

Requires attorneys providing services under this provision to comply with all Rules of Professional Conduct of the North Carolina State Bar, including Rule 1.13 on organizational clients.

Mandates nonprofits provide members with written policies before accepting legal matters regarding client identification, conflict of interest resolution, scope of services, and applicable fees, with policies available to the State Bar upon request.

Requires nonprofits providing legal services to register annually with the North Carolina State Bar Council and pay an administrative fee for initial registration and annual renewal fees as determined by the Council.
