Recognizes Edenton's 300th Anniversary and its designation by Forbes.com as one of America's prettiest towns, the only 300-year-old town in the United States to receive this honor.

Acknowledges Edenton's historically significant sites including St. Paul's Episcopal Church (1736), Cupola House (1758), and Barker House (1782), and the 1973 National Historic District designation.

Highlights the Badham family of African-American architects and builders whose designs and constructions remain standing in Edenton.

Directs the Principal Clerk to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to the Mayor of Edenton, Chair of the Chowan County Board of Commissioners, and Superintendent of the Chowan County School Board.
