Individuals served under the State's Section 1915(b)/(c) managed care waiver are exempt from Medicaid home origin requirements for services provided under that waiver.

Medicaid coverage for Section 1915(b)/(c) managed care waiver recipients shall be based on the individual's current county of residence.

Section 1915(c) Innovations waiver slots are made portable and recognized uniformly across all North Carolina counties, allowing recipients to move between counties without reapplying.

The bill becomes effective upon enactment into law.
