Honors the life and memory of Edward L. "Ed" Williamson, a former member of the North Carolina House of Representatives who served in 1959.

Recognizes Williamson's service as legal counsel for Columbus County Schools, City of Whiteville, and Southeastern Community College for over 20 years.

Acknowledges his military service in the U.S. Navy during World War II and active service during the Korean War, as well as his induction into the North Carolina Bar Association General Practice Hall of Fame in 1995.

Notes his death on February 10, 2013, at age 89, and extends condolences to his surviving family members including two sons, one stepdaughter, one stepson, and five grandchildren.

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Williamson's family.
