Motor vehicle dealers must provide prospective purchasers with a used vehicle history report prior to selling or agreeing to sell a used motor vehicle.

Used vehicle history report must include available information about the vehicle's past owners, servicing history, accident and damage history, and other relevant information.

Motor vehicle dealers cannot charge prospective purchasers for obtaining or providing the used vehicle history report.

This act becomes effective October 1, 2013.
