Permits the North Carolina Industrial Commission to disclose workers' compensation insurance policy information as public records, including employer name and address, carrier name and contact information, policy number, and policy effective, cancellation, and reinstatement dates.

Requires the Bureau to provide workers' compensation insurance coverage status information to the North Carolina Industrial Commission from its member company records.

Designates previously confidential policy information as public records under G.S. 132-1, while maintaining confidentiality of other Bureau records provided to the Industrial Commission.

Limits the Industrial Commission's use of provided information to carrying out its statutory duties under the North Carolina Workers' Compensation Act.

Grants the Bureau immunity from civil liability for releasing information in good faith without malicious or willful intent to harm, even if the information is erroneous.
