Allows incoming directors of the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) to elect participation in either the Consolidated Judicial Retirement System or the Teachers' and State Employees' Retirement System at the time of appointment.

If a director elects to participate in the Consolidated Judicial Retirement System, their service as director shall be treated as equivalent to service as a superior court judge for retirement pay and disability retirement purposes.

Applies only to directors appointed on or after July 1, 2013.
