Adds grain storage facilities to the definition of bona fide farm purposes exempt from county zoning regulations in North Carolina.

Defines public or private grain warehouses holding grain for 10 days or longer as agricultural activities, including all associated buildings, elevators, equipment, and facilities operating as a single delivery point.

Clarifies that "when performed on the farm" in agricultural definitions includes farms within the county jurisdiction and other farms owned or leased by the farm operator regardless of location.

Expands the list of bona fide farm purposes to explicitly include grains in addition to existing crops, fruits, vegetables, dairy, and livestock.

Effective upon becoming law as of July 23, 2013.
