Exempts farm buildings located outside municipal building-rules jurisdiction from state building code requirements, including structures used for equine activities, equipment storage, and spectator seating.

Exempts greenhouses located inside municipal jurisdictions from building code requirements if they have glass or plastic roofs and walls, operate over 95% for plant cultivation, and are built per National Greenhouse Manufacturers Association standards.

Exempts certified roadside farm markets of no more than 1,000 square feet that are open to the public no more than 180 days per year from building code requirements.

Requires annual safety inspections by local building departments for grandstands, bleachers, or spectator-seating structures in exempt farm buildings to ensure compliance with building codes in effect at time of construction.

Exempts single-story migrant housing buildings meeting federal OSHA standards and North Carolina Article 19 requirements from automatic sprinkler system requirements in the fire prevention code.
