Allows the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources to operate or contract for food and vending services at museums and historic sites under its control.

Net proceeds from food and vending services must be credited to the specific museum or historic site where the revenue was generated and used for that site's operations.

Exempts the Department from standard revenue procedures under Chapter 111 of the General Statutes to enable direct reinvestment of food service proceeds into individual facilities.

Does not affect any existing food or vending service contracts already in place at Department museums or historic sites at the time the law takes effect.

Becomes effective upon passage.
