Department of Administration must identify suitable state-owned real property in Burke County for an additional North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics campus capable of serving 300 students.

Department of Administration shall report the identified site to the Senate Appropriations Committee on Education/Higher Education, House Appropriations Subcommittee on Education, and Fiscal Research Division no later than January 1, 2015.

Appropriates $2,400,000 from the General Fund to The University of North Carolina for the 2014-2015 fiscal year for advance planning of the new campus.

The new campus must be capable of serving 300 students and located at the property identified in Burke County.

Effective July 1, 2014.
