North Carolina Courts Commission shall study a process to remove personal information of nonelected officials from city and county internet websites upon request.

Study shall consider which officials (law enforcement personnel, prosecutors, and judicial officers) may request removal and which websites are subject to the removal process.

Study shall examine what types of personal information can be removed, the removal procedures, and circumstances under which removed information remains subject to public records disclosure.

Courts Commission shall assess the costs of implementing such a removal process for cities and counties.

Courts Commission shall report findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the 2015 General Assembly.
