Grants the State Chief Information Officer authority to monitor state agency use of mobile electronic communications devices as part of general telecommunications coordinating authority.

Requires the State CIO to maintain information on the total number of mobile devices issued by each agency and their total cost.

Requires the State CIO to track the number and cost of newly issued devices and identify which contracts are used to obtain the devices.

Repeals Section 7.18 of S.L. 2013-360.

Effective upon becoming law.
