Requires status reports filed by guardians of incompetent persons to include specific mandated items: medical and dental examinations, guardian's performance of duties, ward's residence/education/employment, efforts to restore competency, efforts to seek alternatives to guardianship, and recommendations for more limited guardianship.

Mandates that disinterested public agents or corporations identify alternative guardians and report those efforts in their status reports.

Requires initial status reports to be submitted to both the designated agency (if one exists) and the clerk within six months of appointment, with subsequent reports annually.

Allows guardians to include additional information pertaining to the ward's best interests beyond the required items.

Makes status reports available to the Director of the Division of Aging and Adult Services for oversight purposes and permits interested parties to file motions requesting modification of guardianship orders based on status report contents.
