NC S828

Directs the Division of Motor Vehicles to issue a single annual registration renewal sticker for each vehicle registration plate, replacing the previous system.

Requires the single renewal sticker to be displayed on the registration plate in the location prescribed by the Commissioner and indicate the validity period.

Removes language stating the sticker and plate must be valid for the same period, clarifying only the sticker's validity period needs to be indicated.

Applies existing registration plate provisions to renewal stickers, except where physical differences make provisions inapplicable.

Becomes effective January 1, 2015.
