Division of Child Development and Early Education shall study feasibility of developing a statewide streamlined application process for eligible families to apply for child care, early education, and health support services in one submission.

Study shall evaluate application processes and technology for NC Pre-K, Title I, Child Care Subsidy, Head Start, and management of waiting lists for these programs.

Division must consult with North Carolina Partnership for Children, Inc., and other stakeholders during the study.

Division shall report findings, recommendations, and any legislative proposals to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services by December 1, 2016.

Act is effective upon becoming law.
