Removes three parcels (Robeson County Tax Office Parcel IDs 331202045, 331202046, and 331202047) from the corporate limits of the Town of Maxton, effective June 30, 2016.

Property removed from Maxton is no longer subject to municipal taxes for taxable years beginning on or after July 1, 2016, but the town retains ability to collect existing liens for ad valorem taxes and special assessments.

Adds the Town of Siler City to the list of municipalities exempt from the 10% satellite corporate limits restriction under G.S. 160A-58.1, allowing it to annex noncontiguous areas without the standard size limitation.
