• Updates G.S. 14-159.3(a1) to replace gendered pronouns ("his or her," "he or she") with neutral language ("the landowner's," "the landowner") regarding duty of care for all-terrain vehicle use on private property.

• Adds G.S. 14-27.24 (first-degree statutory rape) to the definition of "sexually violent offense" in G.S. 14-208.6 for purposes of criminal law provisions.

• Simplifies the catch line of G.S. 20-171.24 by changing "employees of listed municipalities and counties" to "municipal and county employees" regarding motorized all-terrain vehicle use on highways.

• Makes multiple technical corrections to estate and probate law sections (G.S. 28A, 31B) including replacing "domiciled" with "resides," correcting cross-references, adding "not" to clarify clerk authority over contingent claims, and expanding appointment language in renunciation provisions.

• Corrects references, subsection citations, and grammatical errors throughout various statutes including municipal development moratoria, mineral lease procedures, electric service provisions, and retirement system plan transfers, with retroactive effective date of August 6, 2014 for certain trust-related changes.
