Makes it unlawful to hunt with a firearm or deadly weapon, or attempt to hunt, any wild animal or wild bird on, from, or across the right-of-way of any public road or highway in Buncombe County.

Violations constitute a Class 3 misdemeanor.

Enforcement authority granted to Wildlife Resources Commission officers, sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, and other peace officers with general subject matter jurisdiction.

Applies exclusively to Buncombe County.

Becomes effective October 1, 2016, for acts committed on or after that date.
