Expresses legislative support for two Wildlife Resources Commission resolutions dated January 29, 2015, requesting that the United States Fish and Wildlife Service declare the red wolf extinct in the wild and terminate the Red Wolf Reintroduction Program in Beaufort, Dare, Hyde, Tyrrell, and Washington Counties.

Requests removal of red wolves released onto private lands in the red wolf recovery area located in Beaufort, Dare, Hyde, Tyrrell, and Washington Counties.

Prohibits hunting, taking, or killing wild animals or wild birds with firearm, bow and arrow, or crossbow on, from, or across the right-of-way of any State-maintained road or highway in Buncombe County.

Makes violation of the hunting prohibition a Class 3 misdemeanor, enforceable by Wildlife Resources Commission officers, sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, and other peace officers with general jurisdiction.

The hunting prohibition becomes effective October 1, 2016, while the red wolf resolutions take effect immediately upon passage.
