Authorizes the Town of Lake Santeetlah to levy a room occupancy tax of up to 3% on gross receipts from rentals of hotels, motels, inns, tourist camps, and similar lodging facilities subject to state sales tax.

Exempts accommodations furnished by nonprofit charitable, educational, or religious organizations when provided in furtherance of their nonprofit purpose.

Requires the town to remit net tax proceeds quarterly to the Lake Santeetlah Tourism Development Authority, with at least two-thirds used to promote travel and tourism and the remainder for tourism-related expenditures.

Establishes the Lake Santeetlah Tourism Development Authority as a public authority with membership including at least one-third individuals affiliated with tax-collecting businesses and at least one-half individuals active in tourism promotion.

Limits administrative costs to 3% of the first $500,000 of annual gross proceeds collected and 1% of remaining proceeds.
