Amends the Charter of the Town of Cary by adding Article XI regarding sale, lease, and disposition of property.

Authorizes the Town Council to sell, exchange, or otherwise transfer real property with covenants, conditions, and restrictions deemed to be in the public interest.

Allows the Town Council to invite bids or written proposals including development and site plans for property purchases, and permits consideration to reflect the restricted use of the property.

Permits property transfers to be contingent upon rezoning of the property and provides that this authority supplements rather than replaces other existing authorities under the Charter or state law.

Effective upon becoming law.
