Authorizes the Department of Environment and Natural Resources to add the Fonta Flora Loop Trail around Lake James in Burke County to the State Parks System under G.S. 113-44.14(b).

Department shall support, promote, encourage, and facilitate establishment of trail segments on State park lands and on lands of federal, State, local, and private landowners.

On trail segments crossing property controlled by agencies or owners other than the Department's Division of Parks and Recreation, the laws, rules, and policies of those property owners shall govern use of the property.

General Assembly finds the hiking and biking trail would provide economic, recreational, health, environmental, community and transportation benefits and advance North Carolina's development as "The Great Trails State."

Effective when signed into law on June 24, 2015.
