Proposes constitutional amendment requiring Governor and Lieutenant Governor candidates to run as a unified ticket on the general election ballot beginning with the 2020 election and every four years thereafter.

Amendment to be submitted to voters on November 2018 general election ballot; becomes effective January 1, 2020 if approved by majority vote.

Requires political parties nominating a Governor candidate to also nominate a Lieutenant Governor candidate, or the nomination becomes void; same requirement applies in reverse.

Allows unaffiliated candidates to file joint petitions for Governor and Lieutenant Governor as a team, with both candidates signing the declaration of intent.

Mandates Governor and Lieutenant Governor offices be combined on ballots so a single vote counts for both candidates; write-in votes for one office require a write-in vote for the other office to be counted.
