• Requires charter school applications to identify the principal officer responsible for making funding requests to the Department of Public Instruction.

• Mandates charter schools to disclose contracts with management companies or educational management organizations, including employee names, duties, salaries, budget details, and corporate structure within 30 days of execution and annually thereafter.

• Expands public records disclosure requirements to include employees hired indirectly through contracts, not just those directly employed by charter school boards.

• Establishes closing audit procedures requiring charter schools to return overdrawn State or federal funds to the Department of Public Instruction within 20 days of notification.

• Restricts automatic funding adjustments for charter schools placed on noncompliance status in finance, governance, or academics, requiring documentation of enrollment increases before adjustments are made.
