Enacts a Mental Health Workers' Bill of Rights as a new article in Chapter 122C of the General Statutes for workers employed in mental health services.

Establishes eight core rights for mental health workers including safe workplace conditions, adequate staffing levels, updated equipment, and family-supporting wages.

Guarantees workers the right to refuse excessive overtime and work that poses danger to their health and safety.

Requires timely briefings about patient behaviors and mandates treatment with respect and dignity regardless of job classification.

Prohibits discrimination based on race, gender, age, national origin, immigration status, sexual orientation, disabilities, physical abilities, or religion.
