Allows legislators and legislative employees with valid concealed handgun permits to carry concealed handguns on the premises of state legislative buildings and grounds.

Requires the Legislative Services Commission to allow this carry right and prohibits any rules that would prevent permit holders from carrying on legislative premises.

Permits the Legislative Services Commission to require a one-time notice to the Chief of the General Assembly Special Police or designee before carrying, with no subsequent notifications required.

Applies to permits issued under Article 54B of Chapter 14 of the General Statutes or considered valid under G.S. 14-415.24.

Becomes effective upon enactment.
