Reauthorizes the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles to produce special registration plates for military veterans who served honorably in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Removes the requirement that the Division must receive a minimum of 300 applications before issuing the military veteran plates.

Plates shall display "U.S. Military Veteran" along with the name and insignia of the service member's branch of service.

Exempts military veteran plates from provisions in G.S. 20-79.3A and G.S. 20-79.8.

Becomes effective 90 days after enactment.
