Requires all health benefit plans to provide coverage for screening, diagnosis, and treatment of autism spectrum disorder, effective October 1, 2015.

Defines covered treatment to include habilitative services, pharmacy care, psychiatric care, psychological care, and therapeutic care ordered by licensed physicians or psychologists.

Prohibits insurers from terminating, refusing to issue, amending, or renewing coverage solely because an individual has autism spectrum disorder or has received treatment for it.

Limits habilitative services coverage to children age 18 or younger with a maximum benefit of 40 hours per week, but prohibits other limits on the number of visits for autism treatment.

Allows standard co-payment, deductible, and coinsurance provisions to apply to autism coverage, provided they are not less favorable than those for substantially all other medical services.
