Exempts members of Indian tribes recognized under Chapter 71A of the General Statutes from hunting, trapping, and fishing license requirements when hunting, trapping, or fishing on tribal land.

Exempts State residents who are members of State-recognized Indian tribes or who possess an ID card from a Native nation or community from license requirements for hunting, trapping, or fishing off tribal land.

Requires exempted individuals to possess and produce proper tribal membership identification upon request by a wildlife enforcement officer.

Requires exempted hunters to comply with reporting requirements, hunter education requirements under G.S. 113-270.1A, federal migratory waterfowl stamp purchases, and all other applicable hunting and fishing regulations.

Effective date: October 1, 2015.
