Revises the definition of "income unit" in the child care subsidy policy under S.L. 2014-100, Section 12B.3(b1)

Requires the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Child Development and Early Education to include stepparents and their children in the income unit definition

Removes nonparent relative caretakers, their spouses, and children from the income unit definition, even when the parent does not live in the home with the child

Change applies to child care subsidy policy decisions effective when the act becomes law
