Allows nonaccredited persons to provide asbestos handling, removal, and remediation training to their own employees and contractors, subject to specific criteria.

Training must be more specific and detailed to the person's particular work processes than comprehensive Department-approved training.

Requires that employees and contractors trained by nonaccredited persons limit their asbestos work to only the specific processes for which they received training.

Mandates that the individual providing the training must be an employee or representative familiar with the specific training being offered.

Becomes effective October 1, 2015.
