Removes the mandatory August 26 and June 11 opening and closing date requirements for schools in Beaufort County, Craven County, and Pamlico County school systems.

Eliminates the "good cause" waiver provision that previously allowed the State Board of Education to authorize earlier opening dates (as early as August 19) based on historical weather closures.

Removes the exemption that previously allowed schools with modified calendars from the 2003-2004 school year to operate under different dates.

Applies only to Beaufort County Schools, Craven County Schools, and Pamlico County Schools for the 2015-2016 school year and beyond.
