Authorizes the Division of Motor Vehicles to issue a special registration plate for the North Carolina Sheriffs' Association.

The special plate requires an additional fee of $30.00 above standard registration fees, with $10.00 directed to the Special Registration Plate Account and $20.00 to the Collegiate and Cultural Attraction Plate Account.

Quarterly funds from the Collegiate and Cultural Attraction Plate Account derived from Sheriffs' Association plate sales must be transferred to the North Carolina Sheriffs' Association, Inc. to support operating expenses.

The plate design must be developed according to existing statute requirements and may bear a phrase and logo selected by the North Carolina Sheriffs' Association, Inc.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
