Allows persons with a valid concealed handgun permit to also carry a taser, mace, or knife (excluding spring-loaded projectile knives, ballistic knives, or similar weapons) under the same legal framework as concealed handguns.

Carriers of tasers, maces, or knives must comply with all restrictions and prohibitions that apply to concealed handgun permit holders, including the same prohibited locations and areas listed in existing law.

Exempts tasers, maces, and standard knives from the general prohibition on carrying deadly weapons when carried by a concealed handgun permit holder in accordance with the permit's scope.

Effective date of December 1, 2015.
